Each piece in our inventory listed as Antique is selected for its beauty, cultural value and uniqueness by our qualified buyers on their bi-annual trips to the remotest provinces of China. These pieces, mainly from the 19th and early 20th centuries*, are carefully restored to bring them a new lease on life while preserving their natural antique flavour.
These criteria, which are the charm of antique furniture, induce certain damage due to normal wear and tear.
*18th century pieces are now considered as cultural relics.
In our collection, furniture and reissued objects are handmade pieces. The materials used are carefully selected and we strive to leave them a natural appearance.
The craftsmen with whom we work have experience of traditional methods, handed down from generation to generation, and this craft work can produce minimal variations in colour and grain from one piece to another. As long as they do not concern the essential characteristics, nor do they affect their quality, these variations cannot justify a cancellation of the order.
The photographs put on line are the most faithful possible, but cannot ensure a perfect similarity with the piece of furniture or the object offered. At your request, we can send you additional photos.

Most of the time, furniture is realised in elm or in larch. It is possible to let them in natural wood or to finish them with shellac, in the colour of your choice.

PFor all the objects of decoration or small parts of furnishing, which our system of sale on line, allows you to add to your cart, you remain indebted of the tax export and Swiss VAT. Upon receipt of the tax exemption form, we will refund you the Luxembourg VAT.
